Profiles A, B, and C

Our programs are designed to help learners build strong, lasting communication skills in their second official language. While many participants prepare for the Second Language Evaluation- SLE Test, our focus goes beyond the exam—we aim to develop confidence and competence that support long‑term professional success.

All training for federal employees follows the communicative approach established by the Canadian School of Public Service Commission (CSPSC). This method emphasizes practical, workplace‑focused communication and is delivered through two official curricula:

  • PFL2 – French as a Second Language
  • CEWP – Communicative English at Work Program

These programs cover all proficiency levels:

  • Profiles A & B: Foundational to intermediate skills
  • Profile C: Advanced professional communication

Federal employees can access the official online materials through their CSPS “myaccount” portal. Our instructors bring all required resources to each session to ensure seamless learning.

To support faster progress and deeper mastery, we complement the official curriculum with additional resources:

  • Sector‑specific learning: Practice with documents, terminology, and scenarios relevant to each learner’s department or role.
  • Written Expression practice: A bank of exam‑style exercises developed in‑house, completed independently and reviewed with the instructor.
  • Oral, Aural & Reading practice:  Questions, simulations, and role‑plays modeled on PSC testing situations.

Every learner receives a personalized training plan based on their goals, schedule, and starting level. Our approach includes:

  • Expert support from a Pedagogical Advisor
  • A personalized learning plan and assessment to identify the curriculum best suited to your goals
  • Access to multiple instructors during intensive programs, offering exposure to different accents and teaching styles—especially valuable when preparing for the Level B or C oral exam
  • Comprehensive oral‑exam preparation with a variety of interlocutors
  • Flexible online delivery·  Scheduling options that include evenings and weekends
